CORRESPONDENCE COURSE bird painting summary

One cannot paint a bird painting without accompaniments. So this course will guide you to paint all kinds of accompaniments. I shall keep them simple, for the sake of those who have not been doing Chinese brush painting for long.

LESSON 1 Introduction, materials and equipment, basic techniques, wrist movement and elbow movement, press and lift technique, two-tone and two-colour loading, drawing outlines of birds

LESSON 3 Painting robins, tree trunk, autumn leaves, grass and daisies

LESSON 4 Painting nuthatches, caterpillar, grasshopper

LESSON 5 Painting blue tits, great tit, apple blossoms, conifer

LESSON 6 Painting house sparrows, tree sparrow, willow, berries

LESSON 7 Painting gold finches, thistles, alder cones

LESSON 8 Painting swallows, willows, blossoms

LESSON 9 Painting woodpeckers, lesser spotted, great spotted, grub, butterfly

LESSON 10 Painting kingfishers, fish, water reed
