A CARD FOR THE YEAR OF DRAGON

Many believe that Chinese characters evolved from pictures. Picture calligraphy is an art dedicated to capture such evolution. A Chinese character is written in the usual form but some of the brushstrokes are transformed to create a picture to convey the meaning of the word. I have created picture calligraphy artworks in papercuts with the character "dragon" and turned them into greeting cards in time for next year because next year is the year of the dragon. You can order this card from me. You can send it as Christmas and New Year card if you cannot wait until Chinese New Year. The cards are of A5 size. There are three colours of the design, gold, silver, and red. Only a limited number of cards of each colour are available.

I charge £3 for each card with envelope supplied. Postal and packaging charges for orders in UK are as followed : £4 for order 1 to 5 cards, £4.50 for order 6 to 10 cards, £5 for order 11 to 15 cards, £5.50 for order 15 to 20 cards.

Please specify your preferred colour when you order. It will save you in postage if you order in a group. You can pay by cheque or money order. Cards will be sent by first class post upon receipt of your payment. The charges for postage will be more expensive for orders outside of UK but if you are not in UK and want to have this card, please email me and I shall find out the postal charges for you before you order.
